The four best teams from the first Call for Projects program presented their results on 20th November. Three of them can now look forward to moving to werk_39 for six months starting in March 2018 to further develop their projects.
The jury chose these three projects for werk_39 because “they have captured the customer’s problems exactly and have worked out a marketable solution for this. We are particularly pleased about the submissions from different countries and markets and the interdisciplinary cooperation. ”
In addition, two so-called “wildcard” teams, who have been working on innovative project ideas in werk_39 outside the Call for Projects program since May 2016, were able to present their current results from the second phase (the so-called “experiment phase”).
Both projects are entering the final phase of “Build,” which will last until the end of February.
The werk_39 team would like to thank all participants for the high quality of their work, their enthusiasm and dedication.
The “Call for Projects” initiative is part of the B. Braun Acceleration Program based in werk_39 in Tuttlingen. With “Call for Projects”, the nine-person werk_39 team called on B. Braun employees to submit ideas that can be developed into marketable innovations. Three winning teams will be identified who, as internal start-ups, will continue to work on their promising approaches at werk_39 in the coming year.
