Template and Instructions
- Working Model: discover | experiment | build
- Importance: 4/5
- Workload: continuous work
Testing hypotheses with customers leads to a verified business model over time. Therefore, you need a tool to track all your experiments and decisions in one document.
In the upper area of the Testing Table you determine the hypotheses and the way in which you will test them. In the lower area you specify the details regarding the experiment of each hypothesis. Now, each column of the Testing Table demonstrates the test-components of one critical hypothesis.
The Testing Table tracks the testing progress of all critical assumptions in your business model. It also provides an overview of these hypotheses.
Tips from w_39
- Refuse any hypothesis that cannot be tested.
- Keep working on the Testing Table over the whole testing process. That way you can track the progress and infer learnings continuously.
